Dramatic amateur footage shows the moment when two large birds flew into the path of a man paragliding over the Himalayas.

Russian Vladimir Tsarkov then had to keep a cool head as one became entangled in his cables, causing both bird and man to come crashing down to earth.

Incredibly, both appear to have escaped the incident without major injury.
