Paging Dr. Stevens? Don’t count on it.
Katherine Heigl is “not likely” to be back on Grey’s Anatomy after the current season, according to a source close to the situation.
“The details, the timeline of that — it’s all shades of gray,” the source says. “The terms of her exit are still being sorted out.”
In the most recent episode to feature Heigl, her character, Dr. Izzie Stevens, walked away from the Seattle Grace hospital, leaving viewers to wonder whether she’ll be back at all.
“You can always have her return in a compelling way, and leave in an equally compelling way, because [show creator] Shonda [Rhimes] could certainly write that,” the source said. “It’s just not clear if she’ll come back onto the canvas this season, for a farewell arc, or if her storyline is already done.”

Katherine Heigl has been unceremoniously discharged from “Grey’s Anatomy” after a stormy six-year stay, Entertainment Weekly reports.
Heigl plays Izzie Stevens, an underwear-model-turned-ethics-challenged-surgeon whose ludicrous plotlines have included a negative-chemistry romance with a fellow intern and an affair with the ghost of her dead boyfriend — don’t worry folks, it was only cancer!
Heigl, a budding film star who reportedly wanted out of her contract for several years, even sent a not-so-subtle dis to creator Shonda Rimes and her writers when she refused to put herself forward for an Emmy in 2008, the year after she won, saying she didn’t feel she was given good enough material to compete.
She also complained to David Letterman last summer about bad working conditions on the set. (The outspoken Heigl also annoyed her “Knocked Up” director Judd Apatow and co-star Seth Rogen when she complained that the film was sexist.)
Heigl, who adopted a baby last year and has been on maternity leave, did not return to the set as expected March 1 to film the five final episodes of the season. But ABC and Heigl mutually decided to end their relationship now as opposed to the end of the season, EW reports, so Stevens won’t get to say her goodbyes.
Katherine Heigl was born on November 24th, 1978 according to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Katherine_heigl

11 + 24 +1+9+7+8 = 60 = her life lesson = what she is here to learn = Move forward. Leave your troubles behind. Put it behind you. The lay of the land. The road less travelled. Going out of your way. Far off the beaten path. Nook and cranny. Marching to the beat of a different drummer. Thinking outside of the box. Don’t fence me in. Push the envelope. The long term. It’s a long way away. Float downstream. Safe passage. Going abroad. Going places. Stranger in a strange land. Don’t talk to strangers. Approach/avoid. Just go away. Leave me alone. Quit bothering me. Sever ties. Not part of the program. Out in left field. Outside of the mainstream. Outside of the parameters. Out of the ordinary. Freak of nature. Swimming upstream/against the flow. Out of bounds. Out of line. Going overboard. Opt out. Whose presence does no good, their absence does no harm. I won’t do what you tell me. Going your separate ways. Permanent loss of relationship. This is the last time we’ll see each other.
11 + 24 +2+0+0+9 = 46 = her personal year (from November 24th, 2009 to November 23rd, 2010)
46 year + 2 (February) = 48 = her personal month (from February 24th, 2010 to March 23rd, 2010)
48 month + 12 (12th of the month on Friday March 12th, 2010) = 60 = her personal day today
When her number (60 (11 + 24 +1+9+7+8 = 60)) comes up, that’s when she gets to live/experience what she is here to live/experience. So today is HER day!!!
