Juanita W. Goggins (1935-circa February 20, 2010) was the first African-American woman elected to the South Carolina legislature.  She was elected to the South Carolina House of Representatives in 1974, and served three terms before resigning for health reasons in 1980.

Her primary challenge = JG = 17 = Reach for the stars.  The power of positive thinking.  A breath of fresh air.  Making miracles happen.  Guiding light.  Spiritual insight.  Stay positive.  There’s always hope.  Hope springs eternal.  Hope is a good breakfast but a bad supper.  A pessimist is a person who has lived with an optimist.  Health issues.
