May 24th, 2011

The Biggest Loser finale began with an auditorium full of friends and family excited to see and greet this year’s final contestants. For the first time in Biggest Loser history, there is a chance for an “All girl finale!”

Sisters Hannah and Olivia are already locked into the finale and America was left to decide last week if Irene or Jay will join them. Along with announcing the winner, tonight eliminated contestants will weigh in for their chance for the at home prize of $100,000.

After a cliff hanging commercial break, Irene was voted back into the finale confirming an all girl finale. The trainers are brought out on stage and a standing ovation is given in Jillian’s honor; after ten seasons she will be leaving the show. The first three contestants who were voted off, Courtney, Marci and Ana, are brought out on stage. The three women look stunning. Ana went from 255 pounds to 146 pounds. Courtney, after losing one hundred pounds prior to the Biggest Loser campus, went from 323 to 213 pounds. Courtney’s mother, Marci, started at 238 pounds and is now a stunning 152 pounds. Ana is in the running for the $100,000 prize.

Twin brothers Dan and Don are the next to come out and aren’t even recognizable compared to their pictures. Q and Larialmy follow. Dan loses 124, sending Ana out of the running for the at home weight loss prize. Twin brother Don started at 309 pounds and is now 179 pounds! Q, who started at 437 is now 344 pounds. His wife, Larialmy, lost 84 pounds.

Moses, Kaylee, Ken and Austin are the next to weigh in. Father-daughter team, Moses and Kaylee, are next on the scale. Moses, who began at a whopping 440 pounds now weighs 287 pounds! Kaylee, began at 233 pounds and now weighs in at 179 pounds. Father-son team, Ken and Austin, take to the scale. Ken loses an incredible 158 pounds, and his son, Austin, who was a season favorite, looses 174 pounds, sending him into the lead for the $100,000 prize.

Next on stage are Sarah, Deni, Arthur and Jesse. Mother-daughter team Sarah and Deni are next to stand against leader Austin. Sarah loses 106 pounds and her mother loses 125 pound, sky rocking to the top of the leader board. Deni’s total percentage of weight loss is over 48 percent! Arthur, who was the largest man on campus at 507 pounds, has lost 163 pounds and is on the road to a healthier lifestyle. His father, Jesse, weighs in at 210 pounds, losing 83 pounds.

Jay, Jen and Justin are the last of the eliminated contestants to come on stage. Justin began his journey on campus at 365 pounds. He has lost a total of 173 pounds. Jen lost a total 114 pounds. Jay, who was one of the last standing on the ranch, is the last to weigh in. Jay is also Deni’s last competitor for the at home prize of $100,000. Jay began his journey at 400 pounds; he loses 181 pounds, which is not enough to beat Deni. Deni, mother of eight, is announced as The Biggest Loser’s at home winner!

Hannah and Olivia are finally brought out on stage and the crowd goes wild. There is no doubt that these three women have put every ounce of energy into their workouts and taken what their trainers have taught them and put it to work. Irene, who was the Biggest Loser on campus, gets to choose the order. She decided that Hannah will weigh in, followed by Irene then Olivia.

Alison announces that Ana Kournikova will be replacing Jillian on next season’s Biggest Loser. Hannah began this season at 248 pounds. She has lost 120 pounds, weighing in at 128 pounds. Irene, who was voted back in as America’s choice, went through the journey on campus by herself after her mother was voted off the first week. She started off at 255 pounds, she has lost 116 pounds. One of the sisters will win the season’s Biggest Loser. Olivia is the last to weigh in. She started her journey at 265 pounds, if she can lose more than 126 pounds she will take home a quarter of a million dollars and the title of The Biggest Loser.

And the winner is…

OLIVIA! She has lost 129 pounds, weighing in at 132 pounds. She is this year’s Biggest Loser and the winner of a quarter of a million dollars.
