A pool party Saturday that inspired tweets about late-night shenanigans at a Texans football player’s home ended before anyone noticed a man’s body under the water.

That came about 9:30 a.m. Sunday, when one of the more than two dozen guests who spent the night at Texans defensive end Antonio Smith‘s Richmond house saw a body in the pool.

Fort Bend County authorities on Sunday were investigating the suspected drowning of Engram Lamar Crenshaw, 37, of Katy. No foul play was suspected, investigators said.

The party at Smith’s $1 million, five-acre estate sparked an excited Twitter discussion about late-night drinking, women being thrown into the water, a fashion show runway over the pool, and other Texans football players at the event.

The Texans, in a statement, said the team is aware of the incident. “We’re gathering facts and will have no further comment at this time.”

Smith, 29, held the party and fashion show Saturday night with about 100 invited guests at his estate in the 2000 block of Grand River Drive, a spacious manor with a man-made lake out front. About 25 of the guests stayed overnight at the home, said Capt. James Burger, of the Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office.

Smith tweeted about the party Saturday, including one line that said, “Hot and sunny out at 94’s paradise ranch cowboy boots ninja mask and speedo’s.”

Photos posted by party attendees showed large crowds congregating near the pool in the dark.

“They threw me in with my clothes & shoes on it was horrible lol,” one Twitter user said, later adding, “texans really knw how to party.”

Smith and other players said to be at the event did not respond to requests for comment.

Crenshaw was last seen about 2 a.m. Sunday at the party, Burger said. The Richmond Fire Department was called to the scene after the body was found.

“There were no abrasions and no evidence of physical injuries to his body,” Burger said.

The Galveston County Medical Examiner’s Office conducts autopsies for deaths in Fort  Bend County. The office was not open Sunday, but will likely begin an autopsy on Monday, said Randy Burrows, an investigator there.

A steady stream of motorists slowed down to take in the scene Sunday, as news crews gathered and a team of investigators fanned out across the estate to question the overnight guests.

“He (Smith) was apparently inside (the estate) when this person was last seen,” Burger said of the victim, who he described as a friend of the Smith family.

The Texans signed Smith in 2009 to a five-year, $35 million contract that included a $12.5 million signing bonus. He played five years with the Arizona Cardinals before joining the Texans.

Antonio Smith was born on October 21st, 1981 according to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Antonio_Smith_(defensive_end)

October 21st, 1981

October 21st

10 + 21 +2+0+1+0 = 34 = his personal year (from October 21st, 2010 to October 20th, 2011) = Motorists.  Generating a buzz.  Things happen really quickly.

34 year + 8 (August) = 42 = his personal month (from August 21st, 2011 to September 20th, 2011) = Misunderstandings.

42 month + 3 (3rd of the month on Saturday September 3rd, 2011) = 45 = his personal day (from his time of birth on Saturday September 3rd, 2011 until his time of birth on Sunday September 4th, 2011) = Investigators.  Things went horribly wrong.
