The Colombian prostitute at the center of the Secret Service sex scandal, Dania Suarez, could be a future Playmate, according to local media reports.

Miss Suarez, 24, will allegedly ‘pose nude in Playboy and give an interview to a reputable journalist recounting everything that happened,’ according to The Miami Herald.

She attracted worldwide headlines following an incident at a hotel in Cartagena when she spent a night with a Secret Service agent who then refused to pay her the agreed price of $800 for her services.

Theresa Hennessey, a spokeswoman for Playboy, said there are ‘no plans to post her pictures in the magazine.’

Larry Flynt, publisher of Hustler, revealed he has pictures but has not yet finished writing the article to accompany them.

‘There is a public fascination with people in the media and I have little doubt that there is a market somewhere for images like this and a personal revelation of her version of the story,’ said Richard Wolf an attorney for the entertainment industry.

April 19, 2012

One of the Secret Service supervisors ousted from the agency this week for their involvement in the Colombia prostitution scandal made light of his official protective work on his Facebook page, joking about a picture of himself standing watch behind Sarah Palin.

David Randall Chaney, 48, posted several shots of himself on duty in a dark suit and sunglasses, including one that shows him behind the 2008 Republican vice presidential nominee during that campaign.

“I was really checking her out, if you know what i mean?” Chaney wrote in the comments section after friends had marveled at the photo. He is married and has an adult son.

Chaney, who had been a supervisor in the Secret Service’s international programs division, retired under pressure Wednesday, according to people familiar with an internal agency investigation into the allegations that 11 agents and uniformed officers participated in a night of carousing April 11 ahead of President Obama’s visit to the Summit of the Americas.

He was one of two senior supervisors who are accused in the scandal, which investigators believe included heavy drinking, visits to a strip club and payments to women working as prostitutes. Several people familiar with the matter have identified the other supervisor as Greg Stokes, who was assistant special agent in charge of the K-9 division. Stokes has been notified by agency officials that he will be fired, although he will be given an opportunity to contest the charges, those with knowledge of the case said.

The disclosure that two high-level managers were involved in the misconduct has raised questions of accountability and personal conduct in an agency whose top leadership has insisted that the Cartagena incident is an isolated and aberrant case, not a sign of a deeper cultural problem within the institution.

Chaney and Stokes have each worked at the Secret Service for nearly two decades, and both have served significant time with the presidential protection detail, people who know the men said. Both are based in Washington.

The supervisors were sent on the trip to supervise dozens of younger, less-experienced agents who were part of the advance team preparing for Obama’s arrival.

Lawrence Berger, the general counsel for the Federal Law Enforcement Officers Association and an attorney for Chaney and Stokes, declined to comment on details of the allegations involving his clients. He said the agency’s investigation is not complete for either man and stressed that any judgment about their roles in the scandal is “premature.”

“It’s our ultimate position that nothing they may or may not have done in Colombia negatively impacted the efficiency of their mission,” Berger said. “Nothing that has been reported to have been done has impacted negatively their mission or the president’s visit.”

Members of Congress who have been briefed on the matter have said 21 men are suspected of bringing as many as 21 prostitutes to their rooms. Ten military personnel also have been accused of participating, along with the 11 Secret Service members.

The incident became public after one man got into a dispute over payment with a woman on the morning of April 12, drawing the attention of hotel staff and Colombian authorities, who reported the matter to the U.S. Embassy.

The Secret Service recalled its 11 employees and replaced them with another team before Obama arrived April 13. All of the recalled members were placed on administrative leave, and their top-secret security clearances were revoked.

The Secret Service announced Wednesday that three of the men were being dismissed from the agency for their involvement. The third man is a junior member of the team who has voluntarily elected to resign, those familiar with the investigation said.

Berger did not answer questions about his clients’ employment status.

“They have a passion for the agency’s mission,” he said. “They’ve both been doing it for over 17 or 18 years, day in and day out, and very well.”

On Thursday, Capitol Hill lawmakers who oversee the Department of Homeland Security — which includes the Secret Service — said they expected more resignations and firings in the case. Rep. Peter T. King (R-N.Y.), chairman of the House Homeland Security Committee, said the 11 agents involved in the scandal underwent drug tests and polygraph exams. Agency investigators in Colombia have visited all of the hotels where Secret Service personnel stayed and have interviewed each of the maids who cleaned rooms in the Hotel Caribe, King said.

People who know the two supervisors have described Chaney’s duties in the international programs division as supervising a department that provides support and administrative help to the agency’s foreign offices. Stokes has been described as the assistant special agent in charge of the K-9 training division at theJames J. Rowley Training Center in Beltsville.

Attempts to reach both men were unsuccessful. Calls made to Chaney’s home and cellphone and to Stokes’s home were not returned. No one answered the door when a reporter visited Chaney’s home in Northern Virginia. Parked outside was a silver Ford pickup truck, bearing stickers with a colorful outline of Texas, Chaney’s home state, and the mantra “SECEDE.”

A relative of Chaney said she would relay a message to him.

The commitment to the Secret Service runs deep in Chaney’s family. His father, George Washington Chaney, was a Secret Service agent in President John F. Kennedy’s era and knew the agents on his detail when Kennedy was assassinated in Dallas.

The elder Chaney had remarked to friends that he started at the service working “diaper duty,” where he watched President Dwight D. Eisenhower’s children and grandchildren in Gettysburg, Pa., and also met his wife. Later, he traveled to work in Dallas, where he was on President Lyndon B. Johnson’s protective detail. He also served a stint in the service’s El Paso office and then became the agent in charge of personnel in the D.C. headquarters, where he was working when Kennedy was shot.

He retired in 1977 and started a new line of work as a document examiner in Dallas, where he and his wife raised their five children.

On David Chaney’s Facebook page, he posted several shots of himself with Palin.

In one picture, he is wearing a dark suit and sunglasses, standing near a black vehicle behind Palin as she approaches a crowd. In the comments section next to the photo, a friend remarked that Chaney appeared to be “lurking in the shadows” behind Palin.

Another kidded that there seemed to be “real chemistry” between the two.

Chaney posted: “I was really checking her out, if you know what i mean?”

Another friend asked if one of the buttons on Palin’s lapel was emblazoned with Chaney’s face.

Chaney replied, “well if it was could you blame her, anything to satisfy a stalker.”

In another set of Facebook photos, Chaney documents a trip he took with his grown son to Egypt. One photo shows a voluptuous belly dancer in a revealing bikini-like top and tight, sequined skirt positioned between him and his son.

“Not in front of my son,” Chaney joked in the comments section.

On Fox News Thursday night, Palin responded to the Post’s revelations about Chaney’s comments by saying she was disgusted that a Secret Service agent would make jokes about checking out her “backside” and called his behavior “pretty embarrassing.”

“This agent . . . was kind of ridiculous posting pictures and comments,” she said. “Well check this out, bodyguard. You’re fired! And I hope his wife . . . kicks him into the dog house.”

Palin stressed she viewed the scandal as emblematic of Obama’s poor management. “Look who’s running the show,” she said. “People will say its boys being boys. I’ve had enough of these men being dogs and not being responsible for the taxpayer’s dollars.”

Fox News host Greta Van Susteren told Palin she agreed Obama should be held accountable for how he reacted to the incident but stressed that the agent made his comments about Palin under the Bush administration.

One current agent, who spoke on the condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to discuss the investigation, said both Chaney and Stokes were respected, well-liked agents and supervisors, who were both quick to offer advice and mentor younger agents and officers.

“I was just completely shocked to hear they were involved,” the agent said.

Meet 'Dania': The bikini-clad working girl is at the centre of the Secret Service prostitution scandalFirst photo of Colombian hooker in Secret Service scandalFirst photo of Colombian hooker in Secret Service scandal

15:48 EST        19 April 2012

The bikini-clad working girl at the centre of the Secret Service prostitution scandal has been revealed as the first sexy snaps of the Colombian single mom have been splashed on a social network site.

Known only as ‘Dania,’ the images show her flirting with the camera and sporting her assets, including a curvy figure accentuated by enhanced breasts, flowing hair with rays of highlights and straight white teeth.

She’s also seen with what looks like a pricey gold watch, freshly manicured nails and designer accessories like sunglasses and earrings.

The New York Daily News reported that she is the mother of a 9-year-old son.

The photos came as ‘Dania’ broke her silence.

Speaking about the tawdry episode that has seen three agents ousted from their posts after a wild night of partying in Cartagena last week, a 24-year-old high-end escort claims she was offered $30 – a fraction of her $800 fee – for a night with one of the men..

‘I tell him, ‘Baby, my cash money,’ she recalled in an interview with The New York Times, recounting a heated exchange that has wrecked the agency’s reputation and become an election year embarrassment for President Barack Obama

The news came today as the Secret Service says three employees have been ousted in the wake of questionable behaviour at the Hotel Caribe last week, with some now under investigation for possible drug use, ABC News reports.

New details of the sordid night emerged Wednesday as a single mother and self-described prostitute told The New York Times that she met an agent at a discotheque, believed to be the PleyClub, in Cartagena and after a night of drinking.

‘They never told me they were with Obama,’ she said, calling the men ‘very discreet’.

The woman, who chose to remain anonymous, said she and one of the agents agreed the agent would pay her $800 for sex at the hotel.

The next morning, when the hotel’s front desk called because the woman hadn’t left, the pair argued over the price.

In an interview in Colombia, she said the two argued after the agent initially offered to pay her about $30 and the situation escalated, eventually ending with Colombian law enforcement involved. She said she was eventually paid about $225.

Days later, she said a friend told her the argument had made the news, and to her shock, she discovered the man was a Secret Service agent.

‘I’m scared,’ she said, adding that she did not want the man in question to be reprimanded, and fears retaliation, the Times reports.

‘This is something really big,’ she added. ‘This is the government of the United States. I have nervous attacks. I cry all the time’

Eleven Secret Service agents were eventually sent home from the colonial-era city of Cartagena on Colombia’s Caribbean coast after a wild night of partying that saw many of the agents bring escorts back to their rooms, according to reports.

In a statement, it said one supervisor was allowed to retire and another will be fired for cause. A third employee, who was not a supervisor, has resigned. The agents were implicated in the prostitution scandal in Colombia that also involved about 10 military service members and as many as 20 women. All the Secret Service employees who were involved had their security clearances revoked.

‘These are the first steps,’ said Representative Pete King, R-New York, chairman of the House Homeland Security Committee, which oversees the Secret Service. King said the agency’s director, Mark Sullivan, took employment action against ‘the three people he believes the case was clearest against.’ But King warned: ‘It’s certainly not over.’

HOW OBAMA’S BODYGUARDS UPSTAGED HIS TRIP TO COLOMBIA

News that 11 Secret Service agents had been sent home after ‘nearly all of them’ were caught with prostitutes all but overshadowed President Barack Obama’s trip to Colombia this weekend.

The scandal unfolded rapidly after a tipster called the Associated Press and reported the incident Wednesday night at the luxurious Hotel Caribe in Cartagena, where the agents were staying while the conducted advance security operations to prepare for the president’s arrival.

The agents allegedly picked up the hookers at the seedy PleyClub after a night of heavy drinking and hard-partying there.

They were busted after a prostitute got angry and caused a commotion involving hotel security and local police when one agent refused to pay her. The tab? $47.

Two of the men were supervisors. Several are married and all of them have been suspended, pending an investigation.

Experts say the scandal could have exposed the agents to blackmail and potentially endangered the president.

President Obama, whom the Secret Service claims was never in danger, said he would be ‘angry’ if the allegations are proven true.

Rep Darrell Issa, a California Republican, suggested Secret Service agents might be covering up other sex scandals when he said, ‘Things like this don’t happen once if they didn’t happen before.’

King said the agent set to be fired would sue. King said Sullivan had to follow collective bargaining rules but was ‘moving as quickly as he can. Once he feels the facts are clear, he’s going to move.’

In Washington and Colombia, separate U.S. government investigations were already under way. King said he has assigned four congressional investigators to the probe. The House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, led by Rep. Darrell Issa, R-California, sought details of the Secret Service investigation, including the disciplinary histories of the agents involved. Secret Service investigators are in Colombia interviewing witnesses.

In a letter to Sullivan, Issa and Representative Elijah Cummings of Maryland, the committee’s ranking Democrat, said the agents ‘brought foreign nationals in contact with sensitive security information.’ A potential security breach has been among the concerns raised by members of Congress.

The episode took a sharp political turn when presumptive Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney said he would fire the agents involved.

Romney told radio host Laura Ingraham on Wednesday that ‘I’d clean house’ at the Secret Service.

‘The right thing to do is to remove people who have violated the public trust and have put their play time and their personal interests ahead of the interests of the nation,’ Romney said.

While Romney suggested to Ingraham that a leadership problem led to the scandal, he told a Columbus, Ohio, radio station earlier that he has confidence in Sullivan, the head of the agency.

‘I believe the right corrective action will be taken there and obviously everyone is very, very disappointed,’ Romney said. ‘I think it will be dealt with (in) as aggressive a way as is possible given the requirements of the law.’

When asked, the Romney campaign would not say whether he had been briefed on the situation or was relying upon media reports for details.

Luxury accommodations: The agents were partying at the Hotel Caribe, a beachfront resort, where they were staying while they scouted security for Obama’s visit
Hotel Caribe
Nice digs: Several White House staffers and reporters traveling with the president stayed at the hotel. The president, however, stayed elsewhere

At least 10 military personnel who were staying at the same hotel are also being investigated for misconduct.

Two U.S. military officials have said they include five Army Green Berets. One of the officials said the group also includes two Navy Explosive Ordinance Disposal technicians, two Marine dog handlers and an Air Force airman. The officials spoke on condition of anonymity because the investigation is still under way.

Secret Service’s Office of Professional Responsibility, which handles that agency’s internal affairs, is investigating, and the Homeland Security Department’s inspector general also has been notified.

Sullivan, who this week has briefed lawmakers behind closed doors, said he has referred to the case to an independent government investigator.

Prostitutes
Prostitution is legal in some parts of Colombia and tolerated in most of the country

Colonel Scott Malcom, a spokesman of U.S. Southern Command, which organized the military team assigned to support the Secret Service’s mission in Cartagena, said Wednesday that an Air Force colonel is leading the military investigation and arrived in Colombia with a military lawyer Tuesday morning.

The troops are suspected of violating curfews set by their commanders.

‘They were either not in their room or they showed up to their room late while all this was going on or they were in their room with somebody who shouldn’t be there,’ Malcom said.

Lawmakers have called for a thorough investigation and have suggested they would hold oversight hearings, though none has yet been scheduled. The incident is expected to come up next week on Wednesday when Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano appears before the Senate Judiciary Committee for a previously scheduled oversight hearing.

House Speaker John Boehner, R-Ohio, said that for now, he is interested in what actually happened. He did not address how much responsibility Obama should bear for the scandal or whether Congress should hold hearings on it.
