Another golden age character will be exiting “All My Children.” Emmy winning actor David Canary, who has portrayed Adam and Stuart Chandler for nearly three decades, has announced that he is leaving the series. His departure is due, at least in part, to the decision to move “All My Children” from New York to Los Angeles last year.

Canary is the second veteran actor to announce his departure. Last year, original cast member Ray MacDonnell, who portrayed Joe Martin since 1970, announced his retirement. Just last month, another long time cast member, James Mitchell, who portrayed Palmer Cortland for three decades, passed away and in 2008, Eileen Herlie, who portrayed Myrtle Fargate for three decades, also passed away.

The four aforementioned characters/actors were integral to the success of “All My Children” during its golden age during the 1970’s and 1980’s and long time fans, like myself, are very saddened at the loss of such great talent.
David Canary was born on August 25th, 1938 according to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_Canary
August 25th
8 + 25 +2+0+0+9 = 44 = his personal year (from August 25th, 2009 to August 24th, 2010)
44 year + 1 (January) = 45 = his personal month (from January 25th, 2010 to February 24th, 2010) = Every cloud has a silver lining.  Count not what is lost but what is left.
