The match between Italy and New Zealand which was held on Day 10 of FIFA World Cup 2010 ended with a tie score of 1-1. It was a really exciting game with both teams played at their best at the Mbombela Stadium, South Africa.
The first goal came from Shane Smeltz from New Zealand at 7th minute of play. With the first goal scored New Zealand took an early lead against Italy.
However the early victory only lasted for a few minutes as the 31-year old Vincenzo Iaquinta scored the first goal for Italy at the 29th minute of the match.
