Eighteen candidates have been elected to the Rajya Sabha in the biennial polls held on Thursday.
The polls were held for five states.
Among eighteen candidates, liquor baron Vijay Mallya’s name stands alone since he is the only independent candidate.
Mallya won from Karnataka with 27 votes with support of the Janata Dal-Secular and the BJP.
